MAGGIOLINA    
Maggiolinas have three adjustable fasteners for total safety and protection to tent fabrics. Space saving ladder, easily adjusted to differing vehicle heights Internal protection sheet, fitted to the base of the door for greater insulation and protection against dust, rain and cold.
Roof; Each Maggiolina has insulating & anti-condensation lining, and is fitted with an 11 x 4cm light. Suitable for connection to vehicle cigarette lighter socket, with correct plug fitted Rubber seal around base of 'lid' to prevent water or dust entering tent during transit.

A water-diversion system has been carefully sewn around the windows to prevent any ingress of water during stormy weather. Windows, all fitted with fine mesh mosquito nets and internal zip fastening curtains. Roll up, roll down, mosquito netting complete with two zip fasteners fitted to all doors
     

High Quality DRALON ® Textile

Unfortunately we cannot control the weather, however you can have features to ensure your comfort is assured in climatic extremes.
Autohome use DRALON ® from Bayer Textiles, which is completely waterproof, windproof and breathable. Dralon will insulate you from heat and cold and will eliminate external light, allowing a great nights sleep.

WHY DRALON?

 
Breathable: Dralon does not retain heat or humidity that form condensation, making it particularly resistant to mildew.
Waterproof: Waterproofing treatment is unnecessary as the fibres shed, not retain, water allowing you to fold the tents even when wet.
Stability: Dralon fibres are pre-dyed before the fabric is woven, making it fade resistant, even under the burning desert sun.
Strength: Strong fibres create a tear and crease resistant fabric, that will not shrink or expand, even with extreme fluctuations of temperature.
Temperature: The fabric is guaranteed for use in extremes of temperature, ranging from -30° C upto +70° C.
Maintenance: The construction of Dralons’ special and unique fabrics ensure a long maintenance free life.

BEDROOMS MADE TO LAST!


Just like the hull of a boat, fibreglass has been used for the Maggiolina shells. Not just for total weatherproofing but also for its' remarkable capacity to withstand knocks and bumps and ensure strength and durability, however, should the worst happen Maggiolina shells are easily repaired. The fibreglass used is also extremely UV stable, to prevent discolouring and loss of shape.

The moulded polyester/fibreglass shell keeps the inside of the tent insulated from cold and hot weather.

Easily cleaned with suitable detergent.

The “sandwich” construction base has a 20mm layer of foam insulation, with two recessed “C” shaped fixing rails, allowing easy installation on any kind of roof cross bars, and most roof racks.
   

COLUMBUS

    

1-2 - The entire outer structure is made of polyester and fibreglass, making it strong and weather resistant. Easily repaired and cleaned using a suitable detergent.

3 - Airtex fabric. Waterproof, tear and mould resistant, it can be folded even when wet and doesn’t absorb or retain water.

4 - Two arched opening doorways, as standard. Variant models have large rear doorway also. Doorways fitted with a water diversion system to stop water seeping through zippers.

5 - Adjustable over-centre clip fastener with padlock ring for safety and security.

6 - Adjustable ladder fixed by hooks.

7 - The inside of the roof is fitted with anti-condensation and insulating lining.

8 - Mosquito mesh on all doorways

Easy to open, simple to close Elastic tensioning straps inside the tent help to fold the fabric into place when closing the shell, particularly useful on high vehicles.
 
OVERCAMP    

OVERCAMP, "DOUBLE UP" SYSTEM

 1 - Fabric: 50% cotton and 50% acrylic. Waterproof, tear and mould resistant, keeps its shape, offers great ventilation and doesn’t retain heat.

2 - Multi-layer base. Long fibre wood board, laminated, both sides with plastic coating, it's waterproof, mould resistant and doesn’t lose its shape.

3 - Thick foam mattress, with removable cover. Two or four pillows, depending on model.

4 - Strong self-contained height adjustable ladder.

5 - Windows fitted with fine mosquito mesh netting and zip fastening inner covers.

6 - Outer window covers, operated from inside the tent.

7 - Water diversion system to stop water seeping into window openings.

8 - Two inner storage pockets

9 - Two air inlets with velcro closure

10 - Mosquito mesh doorways, both sides, that can be rolled-up or closed by simple zip fasteners.

11 - Large roll up - roll down door openings. Closed by two vertical zip fasteners and one horizontal zip fastener on the base for weatherproofing. Two support bars hold open the doors to create roomy awnings.

12 - Patented locking hinge system, developed to help ladder withstand loading.
   
OVERLAND    
STANDARD MOUNTING EXPLORER MOUNTING
Reinforced aluminium ladder, extends from 110cm up to 225cm, making it suitable for any vehicle. Steel guides ensure stability, even in sand. When travelling the closed ladder lies on the base of the tent under the travel cover Ladder has a simple operating mechanism allowing full adjustment to be carried out even in darkness. Patented locking hinge system. Gives the frame the ability to withstand heavy loading. Strong, cord reinforced, PVC travel over cover. Small packed size, with tight fitting travel over cover, ensures stability and reduced noise.
Support bars hold open the doors to create awnings. To protect against cold, wind and sand, a special zip fastener, can be closed at the base of the door. Large door openings, and mosquito nets, both opened and closed with zip fasteners. Plates on the sides better fix the fabric at the base of the tent. Roof frame poles are covered with condensation proof cloth eliminating the need for additional sheets or inner tents. Inside each tent there are two large storage pockets.
Mosquito mesh windows are protected by water diversion strips, with inner and outer protective covers. Internal zip fasteners ensure protection from wind, rain and dust.  Strong hinge, and mattress protection Compression straps ensure the tent and bedding remain in place whilst travelling. Elastic strap, used to hold bedding in place when packing down the tent. Unique “C” guides and clamps allow for easy installation and removal of the tent from the vehicle roof bars or rack.
